Every photograph holds more than an event. It holds the student who found confidence, the family cheering from the crowd, the teacher who stayed late, and the city that made room for young artists.
2015
The first band took the stage.
The first Imagine Music Rock Band Concert turned private lessons into something bigger. Students found bandmates, families became an audience, and a lasting Ogden tradition began.
2016
Ogden became the classroom.
Lessons started showing up everywhere: Slackwater, the Farmers Market, neighborhood stages, recitals, and community gatherings. Students learned that music could connect them to an entire city.
2017
The story reached the screen.
Imagine Music students and teachers shared their work on Park City Television and Fox 13, while community performances at places like the Ogden Nature Center kept the story rooted close to home.

2018
Music became community service.
At the Ogden Music Festival, students, teachers, and neighbors gathered around performances and hands-on musical experiences. The goal was never merely to be seen—it was to help more people feel invited into music.
2019
Young musicians made the front page.
The Standard-Examiner featured an Imagine Music kid rock band on the front of its People section. It was a proud marker of something families already knew: these students were becoming part of Ogden’s cultural story.
2022
Imagine Music reached Ogden Valley.
A second Imagine Music home opened inside Huntsville’s historic Old Town Hall. The new location brought the same personal, creative approach to families across Ogden Valley—and gave the school another remarkable community to call home.
2022
Ogden honored the impact.
Imagine Music received Ogden’s Mayor’s Arts Award for Arts in Education—recognition of years spent creating access, confidence, performance opportunities, and a more musical hometown.

2023
A whole school became a festival.
ImaginePalooza brought students, teachers, bands, and families together in one joyful celebration. Every age and style had a place—from first-time performers to confident young artists.
2024
Rock Academy played the ballpark.
Imagine Music bands brought live music into one of Ogden’s most unforgettable settings: a ballpark crowd, the Wasatch Mountains beyond the outfield, and young performers owning a stage that felt larger than life.
2024
Northern Utah voted Imagine Music number one.
Best of Northern Utah recognition joined years of local honors, while the ninth Harvest Moon performance filled Historic 25th Street with students doing what they had worked toward all year.
2025
The next generation filled the courtyard.
At Van Sessions inside The Monarch, Rock Academy played to a packed Ogden crowd. The setting had changed, but the feeling was the same: students becoming braver together, one song at a time.

Many Imagine Music teachers have been part of this community for close to a decade. That continuity matters: students grow up with mentors who know them, teachers have the freedom to create, and families become part of something deeper than a weekly appointment.
